New York High School Football - St. John the Baptist nudges Holy Trinity

September 5, 2025: Hicksville, NY 11801

In Friday's league match, the visiting St. John the Baptist Cougars football squad scored a close 16-12 triumph over the Holy Trinity Titans.

The Cougars (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Xaverian (Brooklyn, NY). The Clippers come into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Xaverian was nudged by Frank J. Macchiarola (Brooklyn, NY), 34-22, in a non-league battle.

The Titans now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Morris Catholic for a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. Holy Trinity will play a Crusaders team coming off a 49-0 non-league win over Gloucester Catholic (Gloucester City, NJ). The Crusaders record now stands at 1-1.
