In Friday's non-league game, the Jefferson Davis Academy Raiders (Blackville, SC) football team overcame the visiting Palmetto Christian Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC), by a tally of 50-20.

Next, the Raiders clash with the King's Academy Lions (Florence, SC) in a SCISA 8-Man Region II (8 Man) outing, on Friday, September 12. Jefferson Davis Academy will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Lions come into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 44-42 league loss to Holly Hill Academy (Holly Hill, SC).
