John Paul the Great Academy Guardians (Lafayette, LA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool (Lake Charles, LA), 54-14 in a league battle.

With the win, John Paul the Great Academy advances its record to 5-0 on the season. The Guardians travel to Freedom Life Academy (Natchitoches, LA) to play the Patriots in a match on Thursday, September 11. The Patriots come into the match with a record of 1-4. Freedom Life Academy lost 40-22 in their recent league match against First Baptist Christian (Lafayette, LA)
