Pioneer Mustangs (San Jose, CA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Leland Chargers (San Jose, CA), 13-0 in a non-league battle.

With the triumph, Pioneer upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA) to meet the Saints in a non-league match on Thursday, September 11. The Saints come into the match with a record of 2-0. Santa Teresa won 63-10 in their recent non-league match against Milpitas (Milpitas, CA)

Coming up next, the Chargers meet the Lincoln Lions (San Jose, CA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 11. Leland will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Lions come into the match with a 2-0 record after their 48-24 non-league win over San Jose (San Jose, CA).
