September 5, 2025: Rogue River, OR 97537 The Rogue River Chieftains football squad scored 52 points and limited the visiting Monroe Dragons to 0 in the Chieftains non-league triumph on Friday.
The Chieftains now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Tulelake for a non-league test on Friday, September 12. Rogue River will meet a Honkers squad coming off a 74-19 non-league win over Butte Valley (Dorris, CA). The Honkers record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Monroe moves to 0-1 on the season. The Dragons host Santiam (Mill City, OR) to face the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 12. The Wolverines go into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Santiam won 38-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Chiloquin (Chiloquin, OR)
