Iowa High School Football - Moravia defeats Murray
September 5, 2025: Moravia, IA 52571 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Moravia Mohawks (Moravia, IA) and the visiting Murray Mustangs (Murray, IA), witnessed Moravia's football squad topple Murray by a tally of 42-12.
The Mohawks (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Wayne (Corydon, IA). The Falcons enter the 8-Man District 7 (8 Man) contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Wayne was outscored by Montezuma (Montezuma, IA), 63-20, in a league contest.
Next up, the Mustangs encounter the Lenox Tigers (Lenox, IA) in a 8-Man District 8 (8 Man) bout, on Friday, September 12. Murray will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 50-14 league loss to Bedford (Bedford, IA).
