In Friday's non-league game, the Sumter Gamecocks (Sumter, SC) football team triumphed over the host Myrtle Beach Seahawks (Myrtle Beach, SC), by a tally of 63-27.

In their next game, the Gamecocks battle the Crestwood Knights (Sumter, SC) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 12. Sumter will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Knights come into the outing with a 3-0 record after their 50-6 non-league win over Kingstree (Kingstree, SC).
