The South Pike Eagles football team (Magnolia, MS), dropped 28-6 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Natchez Bulldogs (Natchez, MS)

With the win, Natchez advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Bulldogs host Hazlehurst (Hazlehurst, MS) to encounter the Indians in a non-league bout on Friday, September 12. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Hazlehurst lost 30-12 in their recent non-league bout against East Marion (Columbia, MS)

The Eagles now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Mendenhall for a non-league bout on Friday, September 12. South Pike will encounter a Tigers team coming off a 47-14 non-league win over Magee (Magee, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.
