The North Central Thunder (Eureka, SD) football edged the visiting Timber Lake Panthers (Timber Lake, SD), 14-8 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Thunder battle the Leola/Frederick Titans (Leola, SD) in a Lake Region (9 Man) game, on Friday, September 12. North Central will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record.
