In Friday's non-league game, the Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders (Easton, PA) football team edged the visiting North Schuylkill Spartans (Ashland, PA), by a score of 21-20.

In their next game, the Crusaders face the Saucon Valley Panthers (Hellertown, PA) in a Colonial-Schuylkill - B game, on Friday, September 12.
