September 5, 2025: Waukee, IA 50263 The Northwest Wolves got by the visiting Valley Tigers football team by a score of 27-24 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Wolves face the Iowa City Little Hawks (Iowa City, IA) in a 5A Group 1 challenge, on Friday, September 12. Northwest will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Little Hawks go into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 21-7 non-league loss to Bettendorf (Bettendorf, IA).
With the defeat, Valley drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Urbandale (Urbandale, IA) to meet the J-Hawks in a 5A Group 4 test on Friday, September 12. The J-Hawks come into the test with a record of 1-1. Urbandale won 41-3 in their recent non-league test against Ames (Ames, IA)
