River Falls Wildcats (River Falls, WI) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Superior Spartans (Superior, WI), 48-20 in a league battle.

With the win, River Falls advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Chippewa Falls (Chippewa Falls, WI) to play the Cardinals in a Big Rivers battle on Friday, September 12. The Cardinals go into the battle with a record of 1-2. Chippewa Falls lost 42-14 in their recent league battle against New Richmond (New Richmond, WI)

The Spartans now hold a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eau Claire North for a non-league match on Friday, September 12. Superior will confront a Huskies squad coming off a 35-21 league loss to Wausau West (Wausau, WI). The Huskies record now stands at 0-3.
