South Carolina High School Football - West Charlotte can't hold off South Pointe

September 5, 2025: Rock Hill, SC 29730

South Pointe Stallions (Rock Hill, SC) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting West Charlotte Lions (Charlotte, NC), 10-7 in a non-league battle.

With the win, South Pointe improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Stallions travel to Northwestern (Rock Hill, SC) to meet the Trojans in a non-league match on Friday, September 12. The Trojans come into the match with a record of 3-0. Northwestern won 55-35 in their recent non-league match against South Florence (Florence, SC)

Coming up next, the Lions meet the Providence Panthers (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 12. West Charlotte will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Panthers go into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 45-7 non-league loss to Myers Park (Charlotte, NC).
