New York High School Soccer - Shaker nudges Our Lady of Lourdes
September 5, 2025: Latham, NY 12110 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Shaker Bison (Latham, NY) and the visiting Our Lady of Lourdes Warriors (Poughkeepsie, NY), saw Shaker's soccer squad hold off Our Lady of Lourdes by a count of 2-1.
The Bison (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Garden City (Garden City, NY). The Trojans come into the non-league match with a 0-0 record.
The Warriors now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Saratoga Springs for a non-league match on Saturday, September 6. Our Lady of Lourdes will meet a Blue Streaks team coming off a 1-0 league win over Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake (Burnt Hills, NY). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 2-0.
