California High School Football - Cupertino thwarted by Evergreen Valley
September 5, 2025: Cupertino, CA 95014 Evergreen Valley Cougars (San Jose, CA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Cupertino Pioneers (Cupertino, CA), 19-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Evergreen Valley improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Cougars host Del Mar (San Jose, CA) to play the Dons in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 13. The Dons go into the battle with a record of 0-2. Del Mar lost 43-0 in their recent non-league battle against Santa Clara (Santa Clara, CA)
The Pioneers now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Santa Clara for a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. Cupertino will play a Bruins team coming off a 43-0 non-league win over Del Mar (San Jose, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 2-0.
