Silver Creek Raiders (San Jose, CA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA), 48-20 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Silver Creek improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Raiders host San Jose (San Jose, CA) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 1-1. San Jose lost 64-14 in their recent non-league test against Lincoln (San Jose, CA)

With the defeat, Homestead drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to El Camino (South San Francisco, CA) to meet the Colts in a test on Thursday, September 18. The Colts come into the test with a record of 1-1. El Camino lost 27-8 in their recent non-league test against Prospect (Saratoga, CA)
