September 5, 2025: Amherst, NY 14226 Amherst Central Tigers (Amherst, NY) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Iroquois Redhawks (Elma, NY), 3-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Amherst Central moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to East Aurora (East Aurora, NY) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 10. The Blue Devils go into the outing with a record of 3-1. East Aurora won 4-2 in their recent non-league outing against Grand Island (Grand Island, NY)
Next up, the Redhawks play the Lackawanna Steelers (Lackawanna, NY) in a non-league outing, on Monday, September 8. Iroquois will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Steelers go into the outing with a 3-0 record after their 6-1 non-league win over Pioneer (Yorkshire, NY).
