The Gretna Dragons softball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Blue Springs South Jaguars to 4 in the Dragons non-league win on Friday.

The Dragons now own a 12-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln Southwest for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 6. Gretna will meet a Silver Hawks squad coming off a 8-1 non-league win over Fossil Ridge (Fort Collins, CO). The Silver Hawks record now stands at 9-0.

The Jaguars (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Riverdale Ridge (Thornton, CO). The Ravens go into the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Riverdale Ridge held off Northglenn (Northglenn, CO), 14-2, in a league challenge.
