The Castle View Sabercats softball team scored 20 runs and held the host Dakota Ridge Eagles to 9 in the Sabercats non-league win on Friday.

The Sabercats now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Highlands Ranch for a 5A/4A Continental battle on Monday, September 8. Castle View will encounter a Falcons team coming off a 0-0 non-league Discovery Canyon (Colorado Springs, CO). The Falcons record now stands at 1-9.

The Eagles (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Pomona (Arvada, CO). The Panthers go into the 4A Jeffco test with a 1-6 record.
