West Las Vegas Dons (Las Vegas, NM) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls (Carlsbad, NM), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, West Las Vegas improves its record to 5-2 on the season. The Dons travel to Texico (Texico, NM) to play the Wolverines in a non-league outing on Friday, September 5. The Wolverines come into the outing with a record of 1-0. Texico won 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Cloudcroft (Cloudcroft, NM)

The Cavemen/Cavegirls (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Hot Springs (Truth or Consequences, NM). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Hot Springs was dropped by Mesilla Valley Christian School (Las Cruces, NM), 3-0, in a non-league game.
