The Justin Garza Guardians edged the host Corona Panthers volleyball team by a margin of 2-1 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Guardians now possess a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Pitman for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 6. Justin Garza will play a Pride team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Livingston (Livingston, CA). The Pride record now stands at 7-0.

With the loss, Corona moves to 13-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Colony (Ontario, CA) to confront the Titans in a non-league game on Tuesday, September 9. The Titans go into the game with a record of 4-4. Colony won 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Heritage (Menifee, CA)
