September 5, 2025: Decatur, TX 76234 In Friday's non-league bout, the Decatur Eagles (Decatur, TX) volleyball team knocked off the visiting Grapevine Mustangs (Grapevine, TX), by a margin of 3-1.
The Eagles now possess a 23-3 record. They play next when they travel to Peaster for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 6. Decatur will clash with a Greyhounds team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Gunter (Gunter, TX). The Greyhounds record now stands at 20-10.
With the loss, Grapevine drops to 14-13 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Colleyville Heritage (Colleyville, TX) to clash with the Panthers in a 5A Region I District 6 bout on Tuesday, September 9. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 16-9. Colleyville Heritage won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Richardson (Richardson, TX)
