St. Joseph Flyers (Victoria, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Frassati Catholic Falcons (Spring, TX), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Flyers (25-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Incarnate Word Academy (Houston, TX). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Incarnate Word Academy went down by Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart (Houston, TX), 3-2, in a non-league test.

The Falcons now sport a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brazos Christian for a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. Frassati Catholic will face a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Antonian Prep (San Antonio, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 9-7.
