California High School Volleyball - Tennyson over Kennedy
September 5, 2025: Richmond, CA 94801 Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Tennyson Lancers (Hayward, CA) and the host Kennedy Eagles (Richmond, CA), saw Tennyson's volleyball squad achieve victory over Kennedy by a tally of 3-1.
The Lancers (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Oakland Military Institute (Oakland, CA). The Grizzlies enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Oakland Military Institute was beaten by Summit Tamalpais (Richmond, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles meet the De Anza Dons (El Sobrante, CA) in a Tri-County - Stone test, on Monday, September 8. Kennedy will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Dons go into the test with a 2-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to El Cerrito (El Cerrito, CA).
