September 5, 2025: Yorba Linda, CA 92886 In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Yorba Linda Mustangs volleyball team scored a 2-0 win over the Yucaipa Thunderbirds.
With the win, Yorba Linda improves its record to 9-2 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Corona del Mar (Newport Beach, CA) to face the Sea Kings in a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. The Sea Kings go into the test with a record of 7-5. Corona del Mar lost 3-2 in their recent league challenge against Marina (Huntington Beach, CA)
Next, the Thunderbirds meet the Sage Hill Lightning (Newport Beach, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Yucaipa will attempt to advance on its 5-9 season record. The Lightning go into the test with a 6-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Capistrano Valley Christian (San Juan Capistrano, CA).
