Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Ligonier Valley knocks off Jeannette
September 6, 2022: Ligonier, PA 15658 Ligonier Valley Rams (Ligonier, PA) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Jeannette Jayhawks (Jeannette, PA), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Rams confront the Yough Cougars (Herminie, PA) in a WPIAL AA 1 challenge, on Wednesday, September 7. Ligonier Valley will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to South Park (South Park, PA).
The Jayhawks now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Yough for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 10. Jeannette will confront a Cougars team coming off a 12-0 league win over Ligonier Valley (Ligonier, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-1.
