The Desert Scorpions held off the host Boron Bobcats volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's league test.

The Scorpions now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Antelope Valley for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 7. Desert will confront a Antelopes team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Highland (Palmdale, CA). The Antelopes record now stands at 0-9.

The Bobcats (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Mammoth (Mammoth Lakes, CA). The Huskies enter the test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Mammoth held off Kern Valley (Lake Isabella, CA), 2-1, in a league test.
