North Carolina High School Volleyball - Hayesville crushed by Cherokee
September 6, 2022: Cherokee, NC 28719 The Cherokee Braves topped the visiting Hayesville Yellowjackets volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league test.
The Braves now have a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Smoky Mountain for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 7. Cherokee will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-4.
The Yellowjackets (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC). The Black Knights enter the Big Smoky Mountain 1A test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Robbinsville was knocked off by Franklin (Franklin, NC), 3-0, in a non-league test.
