The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Sequoia Ravens (Redwood City, CA) and the visiting Crystal Springs Uplands Gryphons (Hillsborough, CA), saw Sequoia's volleyball squad beat Crystal Springs Uplands by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Sequoia upgrades its record to 3-2 on the year. The Ravens travel to Half Moon Bay (Half Moon Bay, CA) to play the Cougars in a Peninsula - Bay bout on Thursday, September 8. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Half Moon Bay won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Rancho Cotate (Rohnert Park, CA)
