September 6, 2022: Lawrenceville, GA 30046 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Discovery Titans (Lawrenceville, GA) and the visiting Walnut Grove Warriors (Walnut Grove, GA), saw Discovery's volleyball squad beat Walnut Grove by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Discovery upgrades its record to 10-2 on the year. The Titans host North Gwinnett (Suwanee, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a 7A Area 7 bout on Tuesday, September 13. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 24-0. North Gwinnett won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Pope (Marietta, GA)
The Warriors now own a 6-16 record. They play next when they travel to Archer for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 6. Walnut Grove will play a Tigers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over South Gwinnett (Snellville, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 11-5.
