The St. Francis Knights volleyball team (Alpharetta, GA), went down 2-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Mount Vernon Mustangs (Atlanta, GA)

The Mustangs (10-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Lovett (Atlanta, GA). The Lions go into the non-league bout with a 10-3 record. In their last bout, Lovett notched a victory over North Atlanta (Atlanta, GA), 3-0, in a non-league bout.

The Knights now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Providence Christian Academy for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 8. St. Francis will play a Storm squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Hilton Head Prep (Hilton Head Island, SC). The Storm record now stands at 11-9.
