The South Central Falcons prevailed the visiting New Bern Bears volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Tuesday's league test.

The Falcons now have a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Croatan for a non-league test on Thursday, September 8. South Central will confront a Cougars team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Ayden - Grifton (Ayden, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 2-4.

The Bears (2-7) will now prepare for their test against Northside - Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC). The Monarchs go into the Big East 3A/4A outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Northside - Jacksonville fell by J.H. Rose (Greenville, NC), 3-0, in a league outing.
