In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Northumberland Indians (Heathsville, VA) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, September 13. Bruton will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Indians enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 14-6 non-league win over Surry County (Dendron, VA).
The Pointers (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Surry County (Dendron, VA). The Cougars enter the non-league match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Surry County thwarted Northampton (Eastville, VA), 21-6, in a non-league match.
