Maryland High School Football - Northern knocked off by Mountain Ridge
September 6, 2023: Accident, MD 21520 Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD) fans left the game content Wednesday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Northern Huskies (Accident, MD), 27-14 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Mountain Ridge improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Miners host Frankfort (Ridgeley, WV) to confront the Falcons in a non-league test on Monday, September 11. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 2-0. Frankfort won 50-21 in their recent non-league test against Hampshire (Romney, WV)
With the loss, Northern drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Frankfort (Ridgeley, WV) to confront the Falcons in a non-league test on Monday, September 18. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 2-0.
