September 6, 2023: Troy, NY 12180 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league test between the Albany Academy for Boys Cadets (Albany, NY) and the host Troy Flying Horses (Troy, NY), saw Albany Academy for Boys's soccer squad triumph over Troy by a margin of 5-0.
The Cadets now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Voorheesville for a Colonial Council test on Friday, September 8. Albany Academy for Boys will meet a Blackbirds squad coming off a 4-0 league win over Cohoes (Cohoes, NY). The Blackbirds record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Troy drops to 0-2 on the season. The Flying horses travel to Tamarac (Troy, NY) to meet the Bengals in a non-league test on Saturday, September 9.
