September 6, 2023: Oregon City, OR 97045 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league test between the Centennial Eagles (Gresham, OR) and the host Oregon City Pioneers (Oregon City, OR), saw Centennial's soccer squad triumph over Oregon City by a count of 5-0.
The Eagles now own a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sandy for a 6A Mt. Hood outing on Friday, September 8. Centennial will play a Pioneers team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Parkrose (Portland, OR). The Pioneers record now stands at 0-2.
In their next game, the Pioneers play the Liberty Falcons (Hillsboro, OR) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 12. Oregon City will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Falcons go into the game with a 1-3 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Lakeridge (Lake Oswego, OR).
