Georgia High School Softball - Buford bounces Wesleyan
September 6, 2023: Norcross, GA 30092 Buford Wolves (Buford, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Wesleyan Wolves (Norcross, GA), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Wolves now own a 11-0 record. They take the field next when they host Dacula for a 7A Region 8 challenge on Thursday, September 7. Buford will battle a Falcons squad coming off a 17-1 league win over Central Gwinnett (Lawrenceville, GA). The Falcons record now stands at 8-6.
With the loss, Wesleyan falls to 10-2 on the campaign. The Wolves host Dawson County (Dawsonville, GA) to battle the Tigers in a 3A Region 7 challenge on Thursday, September 7. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 8-6. Dawson County won 12-4 in their recent league challenge against West Hall (Oakwood, GA)
