Mill Creek Hawks (Hoschton, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting East Forsyth Broncos (Gainesville, GA), 9-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Hawks now own a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host Collins Hill for a 7A Region 8 challenge on Thursday, September 7. Mill Creek will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 9-0 league loss to Buford (Buford, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, East Forsyth falls to 8-4 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA) to battle the Jaguars in a 4A Region 8 challenge on Thursday, September 7.
