Georgia High School Softball - Toombs County bounces Metter
September 6, 2023: Metter, GA 30439 The Toombs County Bulldogs (Lyons, GA) softball routed the host Metter Tigers (Metter, GA), 7-1 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs (8-4) will now prepare for their bout against Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA). The Warriors go into the 2A Region 3 bout with a 2-6 record.
The Tigers now possess a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Bacon County for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9. Metter will confront a Raiders squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Pelham (Pelham, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 11-2.
