September 6, 2023: La Puente, CA 91746 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Bassett Olympians (La Puente, CA) and the visiting Workman Lobos (City of Industry, CA), saw Bassett's volleyball squad beat Workman by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Bassett upgrades its record to 7-1 on the year. The Olympians travel to La Puente (La Puente, CA) to play the Warriors in a Miramonte bout on Monday, September 11. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 0-1. La Puente lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Workman (City of Industry, CA)
The Lobos now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Wilson for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 7. Workman will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Garey (Pomona, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-5.
