Texas High School Football - Lancaster loses to Aledo

September 6, 2024: Aledo, TX 76008

Aledo Bearcats (Aledo, TX) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Lancaster Tigers (Lancaster, TX), 37-27 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Aledo advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Brewer (Fort Worth, TX) to play the Bears in a 5A-1 Region I District 3 battle on Friday, September 13. The Bears go into the battle with a record of 0-2. Brewer lost 27-14 in their recent non-league battle against Lake Dallas (Corinth, TX)

The Tigers now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Hebron for a non-league battle on Friday, September 13. Lancaster will play a Hawks team coming off a 59-16 non-league loss to Southlake Carroll (Southlake, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 1-1.
