In Friday's non-league game, the Allen Eagles (Allen, TX) football team overcame the host Cedar Hill Longhorns (Cedar Hill, TX), by a tally of 41-14.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Rock Hill Blue Hawks (Frisco, TX) in a 6A Region I District 6 game, on Friday, September 13. Allen will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Blue Hawks enter the game with a 1-1 record after their 43-7 non-league win over Sherman (Sherman, TX).
