New York High School Football - Amherst Central defeated by Iroquois

September 6, 2024: Amherst, NY 14226

The Iroquois Redhawks were victorious over the host Amherst Central Tigers football team by a score of 35-21 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Redhawks face the Lake Shore Eagles (Angola, NY) in a Section 6 B - 2 challenge, on Friday, September 13. Iroquois will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 21-0 non-league loss to Griffith Institute (Springville, NY).

The Tigers (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Health Sciences/Buffalo Academy of Science/Global Concepts (Buffalo, NY). The enter the Section 6 B - 1 challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Health Sciences/Buffalo Academy of Science/Global Concepts lost by Starpoint (Lockport, NY), 17-8, in a non-league challenge.
