Valley Union Blue Devils (Elfrida, AZ) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Baboquivari Warriors (Sells, AZ), 24-13 in a league battle.

With the win, Valley Union advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Blue Devils host Ray (Kearny, AZ) to play the Bearcats in a 1A South (8 Man) battle on Friday, September 13. The Bearcats go into the battle with a record of 1-2. Ray lost 65-0 in their recent league battle against St. David (St. David, AZ)

The Warriors now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Mohave Accelerated for a non-league battle on Friday, September 13. Baboquivari will play a Patriots team coming off a 24-18 league loss to Salome (Salome, AZ). The Patriots record now stands at 2-1.
