In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Bancroft-Rosalie Panthers football squad scored a close 36-34 victory over the Homer Knights.

The Panthers (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Neligh-Oakdale (Neligh, NE). The Warriors enter the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Neligh-Oakdale was nudged by Nebraska Christian (Central City, NE), 28-12, in a non-league match.
