In Friday's non-league game, the Shelby Whippets (Shelby, OH) football team triumphed over the visiting Bellevue Redmen (Bellevue, OH), by a tally of 34-0.

In their next game, the Whippets face the Marion Harding Presidents (Marion, OH) in a Mid-Ohio game, on Friday, September 13. Shelby will attempt to better on its 4-0 season record. The Presidents enter the game with a 1-2 record after their 49-24 non-league loss to Lima Senior (Lima, OH).

The Redmen (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Norwalk (Norwalk, OH). The Truckers enter the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Norwalk overwhelmed Rogers (Toledo, OH), 7-6, in a non-league game.
