September 6, 2024: Boone, IA 50036 The Boone Toreadors football squad scored 48 points and limited the visiting Storm Lake Tornadoes to 6 in the Toreadors non-league triumph on Friday.
The Toreadors now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Hoover for a non-league test on Friday, September 13. Boone will meet a Huskies squad coming off a 33-20 non-league loss to Oskaloosa (Oskaloosa, IA). The Huskies record now stands at 0-2.
With the defeat, Storm Lake drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Tornadoes host Jefferson (Council Bluffs, IA) to meet the Yellowjackets in a non-league test on Friday, September 13. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a record of 0-2. Jefferson lost 41-28 in their recent non-league test against Denison-Schleswig (Denison, IA)
