Cambridge Trojans (Cambridge, NE) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Franklin Flyers (Franklin, NE), 32-12 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Cambridge improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Trojans travel to Axtell (Axtell, NE) to play the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Friday, September 13. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 0-2. Axtell lost 46-22 in their recent non-league battle against Loomis (Loomis, NE)

The Flyers now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Hitchcock County for a non-league battle on Friday, September 13. Franklin will play a Falcons team coming off a 46-0 non-league win over Maxwell (Maxwell, NE). The Falcons record now stands at 2-0.
