Pennsylvania High School Football - Woodland Hills overwhelmed by Central Catholic

September 6, 2024: Pittsburgh, PA 15221

In Friday's non-league game, the Central Catholic Vikings (Pittsburgh, PA) football team triumphed over the host Woodland Hills Wolverines (Pittsburgh, PA), by a score of 54-14.

In their next game, the Vikings face the Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils (Pittsburgh, PA) in a WPIAL AAAAAA Tri-County Five game, on Friday, September 13. Central Catholic will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Blue Devils enter the game with a 0-3 record after their 28-0 non-league loss to Peters Township (McMurray, PA).

The Wolverines (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA). The Warriors enter the WPIAL AAAAA Big East game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Penn-Trafford overwhelmed Moon Area (Moon Township, PA), 14-7, in a non-league game.
