New York High School Football - Chatham loses to Ichabod Crane
September 6, 2024: Valatie, NY 12184 Ichabod Crane Riders (Valatie, NY) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Chatham Panthers (Chatham, NY), 24-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Ichabod Crane advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Riders travel to Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk (Ravena, NY) to play the Indians in a Section 2 B - South battle on Friday, September 13. The Indians go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk lost 28-7 in their recent non-league battle against Columbia (East Greenbush, NY)
The Panthers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Taconic Hills for a non-league battle on Friday, September 13. Chatham will play a Titans team coming off a 18-0 non-league loss to Hudson (Hudson, NY). The Titans record now stands at 0-1.
